Dr. Nick Matthews grew up in Southwest Missouri and is a graduate of Republic High School and Drury University. He received his Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City and graduated with honors in Endodontics. During his time at UMKC he was recognized for excellence in prosthodontics and was selected for the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honorary dental organization.
Each year Dr. Nick travels the country and completes an immense amount of continuing education. He has pursued advanced education in all fields of dentistry but has devoted considerable time to the fields of implant and sedation dentistry. Dr. Nick completed a year-long residency in dental implant surgery, and has helped hundreds of patients restore their mouth through the latest advancements in implant dentistry.
Dr. Nick has been privileged to receive many professional awards, including 417’s “20 Under 30”, “Best of the Ozarks”, “Top Dentist” and more. He is also a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association, and is an active member of the Greater Springfield Dental Society, the Missouri Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Nick has a heart to serve others. He treats his patients with respect and kindness. He has an unwavering commitment to excellence, and is dedicated to providing dental care that promotes optimal oral health.
Dr. Nick is engaged in his local community. He was a long-time volunteer at the Kitchen Dental Clinic, where he provided free care to our neighbors in need. He has also participated in the local Mission of Mercy dental outreach programs and several mobile dental clinics that provide free care to the underserved areas of our surrounding communities. Dr. Nick also sits on the board of a local men’s organization.
Nick and his wife Ali have been married since 2008 and reside in Nixa with their sons Levi and Luke. Nick is an avid outdoorsman and loves to spend time with his family and friends. Nick enjoys having the opportunity to meet, work with, and serve the people of Southwest Missouri!
