SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI – Barnett-Davis Dental Group has used intraoral cameras for more than 20 years as an easy, safe way to show patients exactly what is going on in their mouths.
Dental intraoral cameras are tiny digital cameras that fit comfortably in a patient’s mouth and enable Drs. Marc and Kelly Barnett and Dr. Tracy Davis the ability to show the patient an enlarged image of his or her smile and individual teeth on a computer screen. These sharp, clear images provide the patient with ideal visual communication for the diagnosis, treatment and personalized dental care.
OZARK, MISSOURI—Frequently, when potential patients call our dental office, they ask if we are accepting new patients.
“It is one question about our practice that always surprises me, no matter how often I hear it,” says Dr. Kelly Barnett. “Yes! We are always happy to meet potential new patients and welcome them into our ‘dental family.’ Are other doctors or dentists not?”
OZARK, MISSOURI—We focus on raising awareness about children’s dental health year-round, but each February the American Dental Association sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to talk about the importance of oral health.
BRANSON, MISSOURI—Many people might not know it, but research has shown that oral health and cardiovascular health are linked, so for American Heart Month the Barnett-Davis Dental Group dentists and dental team are helping raise awareness.
Oral health problems, specifically gum disease, can harm a person’s overall health and raise the risk of serious conditions, including heart disease and stroke. The mouth can also show telltale signs of other health problems, such as diabetes, cancer, immune disorders, hormone imbalances and drug issues, sometimes before the person even knows something is wrong.
SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI – Drs. Marc and Kelly Barnett and Dr. Tracy Davis specialists in Nixa general dentistry have won the distinction of Best Dentist Office in the much-anticipated, annual Springfield News-Leader 2011 Best of the Ozarks for the fifth year in a row.
“We are so honored that we have won,” says Dr. Davis. “Having our dental team’s work publicly lauded is extremely flattering. It reassures us that our patients feel we are providing high quality dental care and customer service at the standard we set for ourselves.”
July 8, 2009 — NIXA, MISSOURI — For the second consecutive year, all three dentists of the Ozark Missouri dental practice, Excel Dental, have been selected as top dentists in southwest Missouri by a local survey.
The survey, conducted by top Dentists, a dental evaluation company, polled local dentists and specialists to find out who they deem as the community’s best practitioners. Dr. Kelly Barnett, Dr. Marc Barnett, and Dr. Tracy Davis all received enough votes to place them in this hallowed list.
At the Barnett-Davis Dental Group, an Ozark, MO dental practice, Invisalign has become the prevalent method for correcting misaligned teeth in adults.
In the past, if a person wasn’t “born” with perfectly straight teeth, the only way to achieve the alignment was with bulky metal hardware said Ozark, MO cosmetic dentist, Dr. Tracy Davis. This orthodontic equipment is usually tolerated well by adolescents, but for many adults, this type of metal braces can be even more awkward than their original crooked smile. Invisalign sidesteps the bulky hardware for a more streamlined orthodontic-correction method.
Nixa, MO Dentist Dr. Marc Barnett has begun offering mini dental implants at Barnett-Davis Dental Group.
Dr. Marc Barnett is certified to surgically place and restore mini implants in his Springfield, MO dental care facility.
“One of the huge advantages of mini implants is that our patients are capable of using the implant and subsequent restoration immediately,” Barnett said. “That means that we can surgically place the implants and our patients can enjoy the benefits of stabilizing their removable dentures, partials and even single tooth cemented restorations, such as crowns, as soon as they have their implant placed.”
Monday, April 13, 2009- SPRINGFIELD, MO – Keeping the teeth and gums in good shape can mean more than having a healthy smile; it can be a good indicator of overall health, as well.
For years, researchers have studied the correlation between oral health and general health and the Springfield dental practice Barnett-Davis Dental Group promotes this concept to its patients.
“What goes on in your mouth certainly can be indicative of what’s going on throughout your body,” said Dr. Tracy Davis, one of the Springfield, MO dentists at Barnett-Davis Dental group.
